Stranger’s music entrainment started as a common fanatism from the different electronic projects of the 90th, such as Prodigy, Chemical Brothers and Crystal Method. With every day Stranger’s musical collection was growing faster and faster. From musicians at present he highlight Eric Prydz, considering him to be one of the first who erased margins between pop and club culture. Musical flush into the airs of CIS and other radio stations Stranger calls the most significant moment in his life. Remember that he was far away from being a commercial project
Stranger’s music entrainment started as a common fanatism from the different electronic projects of the 90th, such as Prodigy, Chemical Brothers and Crystal Method. With every day Stranger’s musical collection was growing faster and faster. From musicians at present he highlight Eric Prydz, considering him to be one of the first who erased margins between pop and club culture. Musical flush into the airs of CIS and other radio stations Stranger calls the most significant moment in his life. Remember that he was far away from being a commercial project.
DJ Stranger writes his own music and supposes that every solid DJ have to write his own material and strive to fill his sets with personal track as much as possible. While writing his tracks he takes the view that music should burst on the dance floors and simultaneously be freely comprehended at home. Mostly, these are remixes on old time-proved hits. 95 % of his material densely locates in play lists of radio stations and on discos, not speaking about internet resources.
First grand Stranger’s breakthrough was in 2005, when on the Kiss FM air one by one were appearing his remixes on Sweet Dreams and Sleeping In My Car. These hits made the DJ popular in the whole Ukraine.
Musician works fruitfully and it is quite unreal to enumerate all his remixes. But here are some of them - Struck (AC/ DC, ), Stumblin In (Smokie), Music That\'s The Power, Golden Dust, Strangers By Night (C. C. Catch), Barbie Girl (Aquarium) and others.
Currently he is working under the new release – Requiem that will be accompanied by existing remixes on it from Noiz, Drive Dealers and other famous electronic projects. Track was made under the strong impression after he had watched film “Requiem for a dream”. The idea of writing a remix came not directly, but will to share that emotions and feelings, which he had arose quite long ago. Work is made in Progressive house style. During 4 weeks track got the top postion on the Kiss FM radio in the Tendance program.
DJ Stranger plays in electro groovy pop house style or progressive house. DJ Stranger bases on club sounding and mostly in his tracks he gives preference to clomping barrel, fat basses and electro sound. With every new track or remix, his name becomes more popular and wanted.
Next step in the Dj Stranger’s creativity was making remix on Victor Pavlik’s song “Gorod zelenogo cveta”. Victor’s romantic vocal and tuneful drive from Stranger have captured hearts not only of clubbers but also music lovers. That’s why the work was acknowledged as a commercial hit and got strong rotation on the CIS radio stations.
Then Stranger went to not big tour on the Russia’s cities. It is really helpful to him as he can make new professional connections and get useful contacts. Nevertheless Dj Stranger has time to work with such stars of Ukrainian scene as Tabula Rasa, Victor Pavlik , SKAI etc.
Currently he is hardly working together with Moscow’s Dj and producer Nejtrino. First fruit of their collaboration will be remix on the track of legendary French Jan Michele Jarre which is named Three Days Of Rain (Fourth Rendez Vous). Vinil release is intented for the whole Europe and digital shops as Beatport and Juno.
